Angel
Girl's Delightful Spot
Delight
yourself in the Lord, and he will give you
the
desires of your heart.
Psalm
37:4
Welcome to my delightful spot.
It is a joy having you here.
My name is Angel Girl and I
am Sadie's daughter. My name
was given to me by my mother.
She said she was watching
"Touched By An Angel" one evening
when I was quite tiny
and loved the way the head
angel affectionately called Monica
"Angel Girl". So, she looked
at me and said the rest was
history. It definitely has
become a nickname full of love from
those who call me by it. Anyhow,I
will be sharing my likes
and dislikes so browse around
a while. I'm glad you came to visit
me and my delightful spot.
Here are some blinkies that
share a little about me.
What are angels?
"The
angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,
and
he delivers them."
Psalm
34:7
Since they call me Angel Girl,
I think it would be neat to learn
more about angels. With some
help from my Mommy, I will
share with you what we learn
about angels.
Angel
- a word signifying, both in the Hebrew and Greek, a "messenger," and
hence
employed to denote any agent God sends forth to execute his purposes.
It
is used of an ordinary messenger (Job 1:14: 1 Sam. 11:3; Luke 7:24; 9:52),
of
prophets (Isa. 42:19; Hag. 1:13), of priests (Mal. 2:7),
and
ministers of the New Testament (Rev. 1:20).
[From
Easton's
Bible Dictionary]
An angel is "a messenger
from God."
They are superior
to man. (Hebrews 2:7; Psalm 8:5)
They belong to Heaven.
(Matthew 24:36; Mark 12:25)
They belong to God.
(Luke 12:8)
They perform services
of God. (Psalm 103:20)
Angels are spirits.
(Hebrew 1:14)
They have no material
bodies as men have. They are
either human in form,
or can assume the human form
when necessary. (Luke
24:4, 23; Acts 10:3, 30)
They are called "holy".
(Mark 8:38)
They are "elect" or
"chosen". (1 Timothy 5:21)
Some have sinned and
no longer reside
in God's presence.
(Matthew 25:41; 2 Peter 2:4; Jude 6)
"In
the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence
of
the angels of God over one sinner who repents."
Luke
15:10
When
my mom looks at this picture, she is reminded of how fast
I
will grow up. So, in preparation, she has been working on some
very
important notebooks and binders that she will pass onto
me
when I'm older. At the moment, there are three notebooks
in
the works. The first one is her personal cookbook. It has
all
her favorite recipes inside. From appetizers and salads to
main
dishes and desserts. It actually has 16 seperated files for
each
category she wants covered. It even has all of her very own
recipes!!
I love that! A piece of her! The second notebook is all
encouragement
for me as wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend,
granddaughter
and so on. It has poems, sayings, mom's wise
words,
scripture, and stories that will offer me the encouragement
I
will need as I grow as a woman. Lastly, she is now planning my
third
book which will contain life survival skills. Things like
home
care, car care, taking care of me, sewing skills, quilting,
cleaning,
child care, health information, etc. I'm sure the list
will
be endless as she designs this book to help me in every day
tasks.
I can't wait until I can own these books and feel the
love
my mom put into them just for me!! May you be encouraged
to
do the same for your daughter(s).
My mom has started an online
doll collection. It is the
"Rose
Doll Collection" from MeMeAnn's
Graphics. I just
find them so wonderful. Go
and check them out!
You might be inspired.
My mommy just put up her corner
dedicated to
Disneyland. It shares information
about Disneyland
and Disney in general. It's
one of the "funnest"
places at Sadie's Place. Click
on Ariel to get there!
Have fun!
I will be working on my page
when I can...well,
when Mommy can help me. So,
visit again soon.
You never know what I will
share with you.
God bless you.
My
mom teaches me to respect the graphic artists.
